in 2003. He was stationed in Philadelphia as episcopal vicar for the city’s northern half. He was appointed bishop of Saint Thomas in the Virgin Islands on 7 July 2008 by Pope Benedict XVI
and was ordained to the episcopate on 3 September by Archbishop
