, on January 31, 2010, at the age of 96. He was survived by his wife, Fujiko Fukuhara; daughters, Joyce Bowersox, Grace Niwa and Helen Fukuhara; son, Rackham, two sisters, four brothers, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
