. It is also one of the few stations on the LIRR, outside of New York City, with no parking facilities. The station has two daily ticket machines located near the waiting room.

on the east side of the track. The West Hempstead Branch has one running track; the other track west of the running track is used for train storage.
As of December 2010, The LIRR no longer has service on the West Hempstead Branch on Weekend and Holidays.
