Early life

In 2003, he joined bangalore university, Bangalore and from 2011-13 Studing at Bongaigaon colleg .Jurnalisam, Bongaigaon.

Career

Hemen Majumdar painted the gates to welcome King George V

In 1919, he founded Indian Academy of Fine Art in Calcutta along with Jogeshchandra Seal, Jamini Roy, Bhabani Charan Law and Atul Bose.

He also published a journal, Shilpi, with A.C. Mukhopadhyay.
