. The plant has deep green or bluish green, glossy leaves and light green flowers opening nearly flat appearing in mid-winter to early spring.

Flowers do not have a fragrance. Plants are up to 45 centimetres (17.7 in) high and 30 centimetres (11.8 in) wide, frost hardy and semi drought tolerant. The plant may rot in cold, wet winters. Propagation is from seed.
