Héctor Alejandro Gramajo Morales (11 August 1961 - 12 March 2004) was a general in the Guatemala

who served as Defense Minister from 1987 to 1990. He also ran unsuccessfully as the Frente de Unidad Nacional's candidate for the presidency

's John F. Kennedy School of Government
where he obtained a degree in public administration. He was found civilly liable for $47.5 million dollars for having command responsibility under the Torture Victim Protection Act and Alien Tort Claims Act for the abusing parties. He did not contest the lawsuit or pay the damages and in 1995, his entry visa was revoked preventing him from re-entering the United States
.
He was killed on 12 March 2004 at his ranch at Santo Tomás, Sacatepéquez
