. She takes her name from the Greek goddess of sorcery Hecate
. She uses sex as a major topic in her music, such as in the tracks "Hecate Jacks Off The Jackal" and "The Magick Of Female Ejaculation". She also deals heavily with death and the occult. In the middle part of the first decade of the 21st century, she became involved in the extreme metal
scene, particularly industrial black metal. She eventually formed Treachery, a black metal
group.
After meeting Belphegor
in 2005, she was invited to contribute to their LP Pest Apokalypse which led to more collaborations lasting up until the present. The relation between her and the band has put her into the position of being known as their "Sukkubus" - helping with concepts, lyrics and performances. 2010 saw Rachael take over as Belphegor
's official press secretary for their last LP.
2011 saw her return after a few year long hiatus of her solo project with a 12" release of her remixes on Ad Noiseam
and a CD and 12" release which features her vocal work on the side project of Bong-Ra
called White Darkness
. Also in 2011 Rachael Kozak was cast by Daniel Vrangsinn
producer of many TNBMbands to star in his solo full length video project entitled Taboo
. Her range of talents as lyricist, performer, DJ, vocalist and writer cannot be disputed as she has continued to push the limits of what is deemed acceptable for women in experimental art for 15 years.
Rachael is heavily involved with audio and video production, graphic arts and writing. She has run her own record label, Zhark International, since 1996, and has traveled the world extensively with her performances and extreme actions. As of the present she is still known for being the most prolific woman in electronic music.
