, was called to the capital on September 28, 1961. They surrounded the defense ministry and forced the Egyptian vice-president to leave Damascus, and they put their tents in Aoumaih square. Many Damascus people and the big families supported this movement because they didn't feel that the union republic treated Syrians in a fair way.
Major Haydar Kuzbari and seven other officers who were in charge of the armed forces in Syria, such as the Air Force, ruled Syria under the name "The revolution High commander of army and armed forces".
