This school's Academic Challengers won trophies last May in the regional Academic Challenge. The seventh graders, Shravan Balaji, Angela Bersani, Nikhil Gahlot, Shruti Nair, Emily Polinski, and Amil Vira won first place, beating the home team Jonas Salk. This team won second place the year before. The team that won second place consisted of Vishal Dhruva, Shravan Balaji, Akaash Duppatla, Shruti Nair, Jessica Cheng, and Angela Bersani.
