Halton Region EMS

Halton Region EMS provides emergency medical services to the municipalities of Halton Region:
  • Burlington
  • Oakville
  • Milton
  • Halton Hills


Halton Region EMS has 160 paramedics out of 11 EMS stations throughout the region. The service began in 2000 and replaced two different contractors to the Ontario Ministry of Health.

Fleet

  • 48 vehicles (Ambulances, Emergency Response Units, Support Services vehicles and one Emergency Support Unit)
  • 16 Ambulances staffed during the daytime and 10 staffed overnight.
