History

Haltom High School completed expansions in 2010 that began in 2007. The expansion made room for another gym, a blackbox theater, a choir room, a band hall, percussion room, color guard room, and more classrooms.

Structure

Three middle schools feed into Haltom High School: North Oaks Middle School, Watauga Middle School, and Haltom Middle School. Haltom is the largest high school in the Birdville Independent School District

The Haltom High School Band, also known as the "Pride of Haltom" is under the direction of Greg Hull, Donnie Hull, and Rene Rosas. The Haltom High School Marching Band is a consistent recipient of the UIL Sweepstakes Award, was a Texas 5A State Marching Band Finalist in 2004, and was a Bands of America Super Regional Finalist from 1995 to 2008. The Haltom High School Pride of Haltom also advanced to the Texas state marching competition and performed on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. They performed in the San Antonio Alamodome.
