Her love of center stage led her to attend acting classes and, following the recommendation of a teacher, her parents started to look for an agent. Almost immediately, she signed an agency contract. Ramm started to audition for independent films and commercials all around Texas and soon appeared in nationwide commercials for Hasbro and Dell computers. By age 9, Haley had appeared on the cover of American Girl for the May and June issues.
