. On 4 August 1916 Cleopatra struck a mine off the Belgian coast and had to be repaired. After repairs, she was assigned to the 7th Light Cruiser Squadron of the Grand Fleet in 1918. She survived the war, but was considered obsolete before the outbreak of the Second World War and was sold for scrap on 26 June 1931 to Hughes Bolckow, of Blyth
