Greg V. Smith is an American politician in the US state of Oregon
. He is a member of the Oregon House of Representatives
, serving District 57. He resides in Heppner
with his wife Sherri and their five kids.

He is also serving on The Emergency Board as well as The Transportation Committee. In May 2010 Smith was appointed to serve on a special educational
policy committee focusing on Higher Education and the Oregon University System.

In 2000 Smith successfully ran for Oregon State Representative for District 59. He beat Democratic challenger Linda Harrington 69.15% to her 30.71%.
