Lashukta was the head spokesperson of the effort in support of the arena and famously said during the campaign: "there is no plan B" if the ballot measure failed. The last time Lashutka was in the news was after he attempted to avoid a ticket for parking in a handicapped spot at a local grocery store. Coming out of the store and seeing the officer writing the ticket, he hopped in his SUV and hurriedly sped away. The police tracked him down and ultimately gave him the $275 ticket.
