Volume 9 is the ninth in a series of live digital downloads of the band the Grateful Dead
released by The Grateful Dead Productions. It was released on January 3, 2006 and is a four disc release of a complete shows the band performed on April 2 & 3, 1989 at Pittsburgh's Civic Arena
(the Igloo). The recording is notable in that at the conclusion of the two day concert a riot ensued in which the Pittsburgh Police
