Grant Norsworthy is a bass guitarist, up until recently playing with Christian
band SONICFLOOd
who largely rose to fame through his involvement in Paul Colman Trio
. On the side, Grant was also well known around the local Melbourne
cover band scene, playing in bands such as Rockett, Stealers, Vasoline, Supernova, and The Choice. He started playing the guitar in his early teenage years and has been quoted to have written his first musical piece on the piano
at age 14, picking up the bass guitar

at age 19. Currently, Grant is based out of Nashville, Tennessee
where he lives with his New Zealand
born wife, Brooke, son Maxwell and their cat, Princess Buttercup. As of April 2008, Grant has left Sonicflood to use his new found talents of preaching and speaking. He has appropriately named his new combination of skills "Word & Song"http://www.myspace.com/grantnorsworthywordandsong. He currently travels the U.S with his wife and son, speaking and singing at church services, festivals, college groups, youth groups, and more inspiring them to cultivate a deeper relationship with God.
