Scope
The Society welcomes all interests, prototype enthusiasts and modellers irrespective of scale and make of model railway. It is a national society with just two local groups that hold meetings in many areas of Britain. Merkur
The Society produces a quarterly members' journal called Merkur with articles on prototype and modelling subjects as well as information about the Society, exhibitions, current events in the model trade, recent and future events on the prototype scene. It is 56 A5 pages long in both colour and black and white, printed on glossy paper with numerous photographs. It covers all Epochs with articles on Steam, Diesel and Electric traction.See also
