George John Seabury was a chemist and pharmacist.

Seabury was one of the founders of the New York State Pharmaceutical Association. In 1895 he was their president. He was also a member of the New York College of Pharmacy. Seabury wrote at great length on the subject of the retail druggist in maintaining fair retail prices.

Career
Seabury became a member of the American Pharmaceutical Association in 1876. He was chairman of their commercial interests from 1894 to 1896. He held a similar relationship for five terms to the committee on the status of pharmacists in the United States army, navy, and the marine hospital service.Seabury founded the firm of Seabury and Johnson in 1885.
