Geoff Fox is a television meteorologist
with WTIC-TV who reports science and technology stories for the 4 P.M. newscast and is the 11 P.M. weather anchor.
Fox was born in Brooklyn, New York and raised in Flushing, NY. He attended New York City

He is the recipient of seven Boston/New England regional Emmy awards, and has perennially won the Best TV Personality award in the New Haven Advocate. In addition to his on-air activities, Fox is a frequent host of charity events and has been associated with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, March of Dimes and Connecticut Association of Schools for more than a decade.
Geoff is also a Ham Radio operator. His current call sign is K1GF, he was formerly WA1U. He was known for calling BBS's in the mid to late 80s.
On January 5th, 2011, Fox was informed by WTNH Management that his contract would not be renewed at the end of February.
On January 6th, 2011, a Facebook Page was created in support of Geoff Fox. Within 48 hours, over 9,507 facebook users joined to express their dismay.
On January 23, 2011 Fox was informed that while still under contract with WTNH until the end of February 2011, he would not be allowed to appear on the air, effectively ending his tenure.
The Hartford Courant reported April 14, 2011 that Fox will start with FOX CT April 18, 2011. Fox will split evening weather duties with current meteorologist Rachel Frank.
