Gary Byles

Gary Byles joined the ACT Department of Territory and Municipal Services (TAMS) as the Executive Director for Enterprise Services in 2007. He is currently the Chief Executive. He is also the ACT government's appointee to the board of the Canberra Convention Bureau.

From 2003-2007 he was Sheriff of New South Wales.

Before that he spent 32 years with the Australian Army, including being, with the rank of brigadier, the Commander of JTF Gold/Op Gold, the ADF
