. In 2007, the school enrolled 983 students. The principal is Andrew Haas. The assistant principals are Anthony Gansis and Mitchell Aho.
The guidance department is made up of Mike Richard, Karen McCrillis, Judy Mack, and secretary Deb LeBlanc. The Gardner Superintendent of Schools is Dr. Carol Daring.

Gardner has an excellent swim team each year and has won 15 consecutive Division 1 titles. The football team has an ongoing rivalry with nearby Oakmont Regional High School

GHS Wildcat Marching Band

Gardner High School marching band is directed by Mr. Doug Lepisto. The band regularly participates in parades, festivals and competitions, including those sponsored by the Massachusetts Instrumental and Choral Conductors Association
