Gan Wing Chung is one of the characters in the TVB television series, Moonlight Resonance
. He is the youngest son of Gan Tai Cho (甘泰祖) and Chung Siu Hor (鍾笑荷).

However, since his father, Gan Tai Cho (甘泰祖), had recently begun to reconcile with his ex-wife and came to visit rather often he finds out. The father expects Gan Wing Chung to soon go back to Manchester to complete the remaining year and a half but discovers that his son is extremely unhappy there and has no intention of returning. Chung Siu Hor, displeased at her son's ordeal in England, immediately decides to allow him to stay with her and her three other children.
to reside with her sister betrays the family and reveals the truth to Ah Chung's paternal grandmother, hoping that she will return the favor one day by giving her (Chung Siu Sa) a sum of money. (The aunt is a very avaricious person.) The grandmother thus brings Ah Chung back to the other side and with the stepmother prepares to send him back to England to study. However, Ah Chung rebels and returns to live with his biological mother and three other siblings. The grandmother is infuriated and vows to neither eat nor drink until Gam Wing Chung returns, but all the grandchildren persuade her to allow Ah Chung to be happy with his mother since he is always gloomy living with his stepmother. The grandmother acquiesces and Ah Chung stays with Chung Siu Hor.
