The Fumio Koizumi Prize is an international

. The prize is awarded by Fumio Koizumi Trust. This prize is to be awarded each April 4, the date of Koizumi Fumio's birthday . The recipient is to receive an award certificate in addition to the prize money. The winners must be present at the ceremony, deliver a prize lecture, and deliver another lecture at another Japanese university of his/her choice.
