Company information

The plant has started its production in February 2010 with the occasional production of prototypes. In this way, the production should become routine for the staff. Also the adjustment of vehicle components produced by Fúzhōu local third-party, should be made easier by this way. About forty percent of all necessary vehicle parts and components are produced by this locally-based firms. On the 16th April 2010 the FJDA has launched the official series production.

The company site covers an area of 128,000 m². The company currently employs 1300 workers. Approximately 40,000 vehicles per year should be made at maximum utilization. Depending on demand, the production lines of the plant can be used model variable. This means that a production line is not assigned to a particular model. As in all other production facilities of the Daimler AG, the Mercedes-Benz Production System is applied.
