) while rescuing her from an assassin organisation led by her fiancé Dex Dellum (played by Jeff Fahey
).
Originally intended for a theatrical release, the movie was released directly to VHS in the United States by Vidmark Entertainment and in Canada that same year by Cineplex Odeon and MCA. In 2002, Platinum Disc released a DVD of the film sans any bonus material. The DVD has since been discontinued, and as of January 2, 2010, no plans have been announced for a new DVD release.
