 translation: "Ballad of Stone") together with his ex former wife, Aida Ndoci at the 45th festival. The song was re-titled "Hear My Plea" and translated into English for the Eurovision performance, which was only credited to Frederick. In Eurovision Song Contest semifinal he was placed 11th and didn't qualify to the final.

Background

Frederik grew up in a family of artists from the northern Albanian city of Shkodra. His sister, Rita Ndoci was an operatic singer of folkloric music and a professional comedian. Another sister, Julia Ndoci, started a career as a singer right after Frederik, but with less success,couse she did not stay to long at Albania, she got married in Germany, and her carier was very big over there.Frederik studies Academy of Arts and got diploma for actor, and also hi performed in 6 movies,his long career includes successful movies, where he performed as an actor, starring in main and second roles.his carier we can see just in four years,(1987–91) who hi was winner of every artistic eveniment from first to third place,making himself very wellknown in all country.
Despite his big success, he has had his share of big difficult and several times mostly caused from the Albanian communist regime of the time.

Career

Frederik escape from Albania 1991, and after 6 month working hart in northern Italy. he signed contrate with recording company, and make a first Cd "Di tutto di piu" with group "Pagina D'Album" 1992, after was a second cd, 1993"Sono Gitano", third cd 1994 "Canta Frederik" was before hi signed contrate for recording a cd with a gospel songs, 1997"Frederik Ndoci and friend"with Shadow Mountain Church (San Diego) California USA.Most sucssesful was duble Cd recording with a "Blue November"(2003–05) "Canterina" with worldwide sucsses and making Frederik wellknown all over the world.
This is not the first time Frederik, who can sing in six different languages, has won a competition. He won the Festival in December 1989 with the song called Toka e Diellit (Land Of The Sun).
