Libel case

Kissoon and his employers lost an appeal against an interlocutory judgment in a libel case brought by Guyanese President Jagdeo in June of 2011. The defendents were ordered not to repeat the allegations in question, and to pay a $40,000 fine. The full hearing will take place on August 19, 2011.
