Early life

Flavie Flament is the daughter of Jean-Paul Lecanu, a former professional football player for Stade Malherbe de Caen (1970–1974), currently employed by the SNCF

, and an employee of the French state children's protection agency, Aide sociale à l'enfance (ASE). She has two older two brothers: Olivier (the elder) and Maxime. In 1988 she was elected "Miss OK" under the name of Flavie Lecanu, Miss Normandy in the show L'élection de Miss OK 88 broadcast on M6 (hosted by Marie-Pierre Lacq and Jean-Luc Delarue).

In 1994, she obtained a Bachelor of Applied Foreign Languages.

TV career

She began her career as a production assistant for the TV show Frou-Frou by Christine Bravo on Antenne 2. She then became head of production for Philippe Alfonsi for Ça déméninge ! on La Cinquième
