The First Coconut Grove School is a historic school

. It is located at 3429 Devon Road. The first public school in Miami-Dade county began in 1887 in Coconut Grove. In 1889 the school moved to this schoolhouse which was located across from what is now Peacock Park
. The building was later used as a private residence until it was bought by Ryder Systems
, refurbished, and relocated to the Plymouth Congregational Church property in 1970.
On January 21, 1975, it was added to the U.S.
National Register of Historic Places
