Fernieside Football Club
Fernieside Football Club was formed in 1989 by Billy Forbes and Andrew Whitfield. Their clubrooms are at Gilmerton Park, although they originally played at Fernieside Park. The club has eight teams ranging from 9s through to an Amateur team, plus a Kids School. The 2008/09 season saw the introduction of SFA's newly-initiated Soccer 4s, with budding young visiting teams come from the South of Edinburgh and MidlothianMidlothian
