. It was released in 1997 and reached number 19 in the UK charts, encouraging other Glam rockers to jump on the band wagon and release their own 'Greatest Hits' packages.
A huge resurgence in Seventies music was happening, due to the constant mentions from Blur's Damon Albarn
and Oasis's Noel Gallagher
. David Bowie
was also quick to release two 'greatest hits' compilations, which sold very well too.
The album also peaked at #10 in Norway with the 2002 version of this compilation.
The album peaked at #202 for 1997 on rateyourmusic and #4366 for overall albums.
