History

FM 1327 was first designated in 1949. Its western terminus was near its current location, at the old alignment of prior to the construction of the Interstate 35 freeway, and its eastern terminus was in Creedmoor. The route was extended eastward over the original alignment of FM 1626 to its current terminus at US 183 (then ).
