Characteristics

Both sexes are polled (hornless) and exhibits a large Roman nose. The Fabrianese is white and unicolor. Measured at the withers, rams are 80 cm (31.5 in) and ewes are 72 cm (28.3 in). At maturity, rams weigh 80 kg (176.4 lb) and ewes 60 kg (132.3 lb).
