Versions

Three versions of the song by Steely Dan exist. The Guitar version and its sax reprise feature on the soundtrack and 12" single. The former also appears on the A Decade of Steely Dan compilation. The Sax version appears on Showbiz Kids, amongst others, and appears to be a remix combining the main song with its reprise, as it is not an alternate take. It is possible this remix was commissioned especially for Citizen Steely Dan so that it would not feature two different versions of a song one after the other.
