In 1948 he and his partner Bernt Torberntsson were eliminated in the repechage of the coxless pairs event.

Four years later his partner was again Bernt Torberntsson when they were eliminated in the semi-final repechage of the coxless pairs event.

At the 1956 Games he was a crew member of the Swedish boat which won the silver medal in the coxed fours event. He was also part of the Swedish boat which finished fourth in the eights competition.
