Qualified teams

Ten teams have secured their places at the EuroBasket 2011 before the qualifications. Twelve teams have qualified through the Qualifying Round, and two more team have qualified through the Additional Qualifying Round.

The Qualifying Round have been held from August 2, 2010 to August 29, 2010. The draw for the Qualifying Round was held on 16 January 2010 in Munich

Expansion of EuroBasket 2011

Originally, the final tournament was planned to include 16 teams. However, on September 5, 2010, after the Qualifying Round has concluded, FIBA Europe
