. Several populations are found beyond the Southwest Botanical Province, in arid regions around Kalgoorlie, and the shrub occupies a variety of soil types and habitats.

The mass of flowers is orange to red, with yellow, and appear from July to January. The habit is as a spreading shrub, or erect to 2.0 metres tall. Eremaea pauciflora is commercially available as a garden plant, favoured for its tolerance, low maintenance and appealing floral display.

The species is also referred to as Orange-flowered eremaea.
