. As of the 4th of April 2011, The Co-operative Cross Street will be home to Enderby's post office as late 2010, the post master announced his retirement. Due to being run by different co-operative societies the stores are effectively in competition with each other.

Enderby has a large leisure centre with swimming pool, gym, squash courts and sports hall for badminton and 5-a-side football. There is also a 9 hole pay and play golf course.

Crime

Enderby was the location where Colin Pitchfork

Initially a 17-year old youth was suspected, and even confessed to one of the murders, but DNA testing cleared him. Following what was the first mass DNA screening of an entire community, Pitchfork was the first person to be arrested and convicted of a crime using DNA profiling.
