Everything was going well for End of the Rope. They had just returned from a grinding tour of the East coast. The tour was cut a bit short due to Ken Ingram's back that was bothering him and Hollow's blown amp. The band decided that after the May 15th show at Bourbon Street Night Club with St. Valentines Massacre and Team Cybergeist they would take a little break for Ken's back to heal. This would also allow everyone some rest for an August tour. Early in the morning of May 17 the band was notified that Fred Gray also known as Hollow was taken to a local hospital due to self inflicted gunshot wounds to the head. Hospital staff tried to revive Fred several times but the attempts were in vain. Fred Gray "Hollow" was pronounced dead early that Monday morning, May 17, 2010. Fred was 29 years old, only a few months short of his 30th birthday.Former
