Playing as a driver Csikos was named MVP at the Youth Nationals in 2005. She also was selected Alberta Female Athlete of the Year in 2006, and MVP at the 2005 Youth Pan American Games. Her father John Csikos is the head of the Calgary water polo club and the former head coach of the Canada men's national water polo team

She currently attends the University of California at Berkeley and is a junior on the women's water polo team there. On the school's list of all time top scorers she holds the 5th place position with 134 career goals in her first two seasons, along with earning All American honorable mention in 2009 and 1st team All American in 2010.
