It is also home to the Catholic Ladies College established in 1902 by the Sisters of Charity founded by Mary Aikenhead. CLC moved to Eltham, from its original location in March 1968. It has some of the oldest buildings in Eltham such as the Currajeen building which was formerly a convent for the nuns. The school crest consists of a rose, a symbol of God's love for us, a book symbolising the knowledge and learning of the school community and a lily representing purity. The schools that are in Eltham North are Glen Katherine Primary School, St. Helena Secondary College, Holy Trinity Catholic School and Eltham North Primary School.
