Elias Soloweyczyk was a Lithuanian rabbi, author and translator from Slutzk.
Soloweyczyk was a grandson of Rabbi Chaim of Volozhin
(1749–1821).
In his Harvq Lvq Kôl Kôré, (The calling voice - The Bible, the Talmud and the Gospel, 1869, Latin Vox Clamantis) he published a Hebrew translation of Gospel of Matthew. His manuscript translation of Mark is lost. His book attempts explain the Talmud to Christians and the Gospel to Jews and to demonstrate the common grounds of belief. He also planned a commentary on the Yad Hachazakah of Maimonides
