He was born in 1873. He attended Harvard and graduated in 1896. He was arrested in 1915. He attended a Sacco & Vanzetti meeting at the Boston Common

during the trial, he was "smartly dressed, neatly barbered, looking more like a distinguished professor emeritus than a boisterous radical nephew". He assaulted a police officer and was arrested.

He died in 1954.
