. She married Robert Byard and emigrated with him and their children to the US in 1902, becoming a film actress in her fifties, mainly in supporting roles. Her daughter also worked for a time as an actress in films, and her son became a violin
ist with a symphony orchestra. She developed curvature of the spine as a result of working under the excessively hot studio lights and died in Southgate, California.
