of the ACHL/WHA2/SPHL. When the Trax folded, Welch signed a contract with the expansion Pee Dee Cyclones of the SPHL. He was the team's leading goalscorer in the 2005 to 2006 season. Welch has signed with the Fayetteville FireAntz for the 2007-08 season. Edan played for the Huntsville
Havoc for part of the 2008-09 season. Then he was traded to Twin City Cyclones.
