 was closed in 1996 and the parish amalgamated with St Joseph, Manchester Road. Bowling Cemetery is situated to the south on the ring road.

When the area was first constructed, it was a well-to-do part of Bradford, and built at a time when the city was thriving. In recent years East Bowling has become rather run-down. The housing stock in the area is mainly late Victorian
