On July 9, 2008, Canopy Ventures, an early-stage venture capital
firm, announced it was investing $1 million in eFileCabinet to enable the company to expand and accelerate their investments in sales and marketing.

As requests for the software began to grow, Blaylock incorporated in order to improve and market the software.
