and began working in the smaller theaters in New York City
and in the regional theatre
around the northeast, from Bangor, Maine
down to Virginia
.
In 2002 he took up writing and filmmaking with his first film The Abels House is Green which was shot in Greensboro, Vermont
. He went on to shoot two more movies: The Reader which starred Elizabeth Franz
, and Bust, which starred Dan Lauria
. The Films screened on four different continents. In China
The Reader won Best Dramatic Short Film from The Rose Group, a foundation formed to promote and foster relationships between American and Chinese artists.
Most recently he has shot his fourth short film Bluff, written by playwright and screenwriter Mike T. Folie and adapted by Rogers.
