Three of the Chair Berg is a 1333 m above sea level. NN high mountain in the Bavarian Forest in Bavaria ( Germany ).
The Czech border runs some 370 meters southeast of the summit's past the three-chair, the nearby Mount Plöckenstein located the border triangle Germany- Austria - Czech Republic is located about 3 km southeast of Three's chair (distances in each distance ).
Approximately 450 meters (line) south of the three-chair mountain peak is the three-seat rock, three bizarre granite rocks, from pillow-like shaped rocks known as the wool sack weathering there. Just north of this rock group is the three-seat house (1,312 m above sea level. NN) with the managed mountain inn Dreisessel. A few meters to the east runs the German-Czech border.
Up to three chairs store Dreisessel public road, so the Dreisselberg is often quite busy. It also marked hiking trails lead from all directions, for example by cross-stream hermitage from Haidmühle women's mountain or the Czech Nové Údolí on the mountain.
On the western slopes of Three's chair, the Haber Grasberg (1,235 m above sea level. NN), is the three-chair lift, a ski lift with a base station in Haidmühle Women's Mountain. On the three-chair mountain is located on the Bavarian side a nature reserve with a size of about 270 hectares. The parts of the eastern slope Czech territory belonging to the National Park Šumava (Bohemian Forest).
From a three Sesselberg out the ridge high ridge over the Bavarian Plöckenstein (1,365 m above sea level. NN) and the triangle of Germany-Austria-Czech Republic (1,321 m) to the Austria-Czech border on the main summit of Plöckenstein (1378.3 m). It runs along the German-Czech border and then on the Austria-Czech border. Just below them is on the Czech territory Plöckensteiner lake , the southern glacial lakes of the Bohemian Forest.

Geographic Location of the mountain
The three-chair mountain is located in the eastern part of Lower Bavaria in the district of Freyung-Grafenau . Mountain Description
At the highest point of the most heavily forested mountain Dreisessel, Hochstein called, is a distinctive granite rock with summit cross , from which one can enjoy the view.Approximately 450 meters (line) south of the three-chair mountain peak is the three-seat rock, three bizarre granite rocks, from pillow-like shaped rocks known as the wool sack weathering there.
